The 5^th grading period begins on February 25^th and will end on April 19^th. There are seven weeks in this current grading period.

The 2013-2014 school registration is almost complete. It is not too late to have conversations about course selections and career goals.

Congratulations to all the students that have excelled in their various activities this spring semester.

TAKS Retest for seniors - March 4 – 7

All other TAKS will be the last week of April.

STAAR Test April 1 & 2 English 1

April 3 & 4 English 2

All other STAAR Tests will be May 6 - 8

Question: What can I do to help prepare my child for the upcoming test?

Answer: 1. Make sure they are hydrated prior to the test day.

2. Get plenty of rest prior to the day of testing.

3. Help students understand the value behind the tests.

4. Be positive and encouraging about your expectations.
