In honor of Texas Arbor Day, Texas A&M Forest Service foresters visited SES to give students an engaging, hands-on presentation about the importance of trees. Students learned about the history of Arbor Day, the anatomy of a tree, the many environmental benefits trees provide, and other fun facts. They even got a chance to plant an oak tree on campus and took home seedlings to nurture their own trees.
Thank you to Texas A&M Forest Service for inspiring our students to care for our planet and grow a greener future!
With Thanksgiving around the corner, we’re reflecting on how grateful we are for the Fredericksburg community’s continued support. This season, we invite you to join the FISD Education Foundation in giving back to our students as they launch their annual fundraising campaign to reach an ambitious goal of $250,000. Every donation will go directly to programs, resources, and opportunities that enrich the education and lives of our students. Together, let’s make a difference...
