Hello!

My name is Dan Brown and I am part of the 5th grade team teaching math and science.

This is my 1st year at FES and my 1st year teaching in a formal education setting.

I grew up in San Diego, CA and spent the last 8.5 years living in Northeast Japan in the disaster area from the March 11th, 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

I am married to my awesome wife, Casi, who is an aide here on campus, and we have three kiddos, two in elementary and one in middle school.

I like to surf (although not so much since moving to Fredericksburg), play soccer, golf, hang with my family, and eat.
