Welcome to Battlin’ Billie Country and The Stafford Family

Born in San Diego, California, raised in Seymour, Texas and graduated from Seymour High School in 1982.  Enlisted into the United States Navy in July of 1985 and retired in October of 2013 (CWO4) serving 28 years of Active Duty service.  Earned my BAS Degree from Wayland Baptist University (2013). 

I began a teaching career in Fredericksburg in the fall of 2013, immediately after military retirement.  I have five children and three grandchildren.  Three of them have graduated from FHS.  I've been married for 28 years (as of Oct. 6th) to my lovely wife Sheryl, who has been the cornerstone of my existence.   Her continued support and love has made this such an easy transition from military service.  I live by the motto; “Do what you love and love what you do.”  I will always treat my students/your children with respect and common courtesy in hopes that they will reciprocate these characteristics to their families, peers and our faculty members.
