My name is Hilda Nevarez. I was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. I come from a family of 10, 5 sisters and 5 brothers, of which 8 of the 10 are teachers, including me. I have 4 wonderful children, two daughters, and 2 boys. I have been married for 42 years and I have two beautiful granddaughters and one grandson. I like to read, write, watch movies and listen to music. I also like to walk in the evenings and observe the birds and nature. I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in bilingual education and I am strongly equipped and trained to educate my students. I have 9 years of teaching and this current year I will have 10. It is an honor and a great privilege to teach and serve my students. As a teacher, first, I have a strong faith in the future of my students. Like the man in the field who plants an apple tree, having faith that one day that tree will grow and give a delicious fruit in all its splendor, I know that one day I will be able to see the fruits of my work as a teacher. I understand that my vocation is to plant and nurture the seeds of knowledge that will grow and shape a successful future for my students.

Mi nombre es Hilda Nevarez. Nací en Torreón Coahuila México. Vengo de una familia de 10, 5 hermanas y 5 hermanos, de los cuales 8 de los 10 son docentes, incluido yo. Tengo 4 niños maravillosos, dos hijas y 2 hijos. He estado casada durante 42 años y tengo dos bellas nietas y un nieto. Me gusta leer, escribir, ver películas y escuchar música. También me gusta caminar por las tardes y observar los pájaros y la naturaleza. Tengo una licenciatura y una maestría en educación bilingüe y estoy fuertemente equipada y entrenado para educar a mis alumnos. Tengo 9 años en la enseñanza y con este año actual tendré 10. Es un honor y un gran privilegio enseñar y servir a mis alumnos. Como maestra, primero, tengo una gran fe en el futuro de mis estudiantes. Asi como el hombre en el campo que planta un arbol de manzano, teniendo fe en que un día ese árbol crecerá y dará una fruta deliciosa en todo su esplendor, Asi yo sé que algún día podré ver los frutos de mi trabajo como maestra. Entiendo que mi vocación es plantar y alimentar las semillas de conocimiento que crecerán y darán forma a un futuro exitoso para mis alumnos.
