About me:

I graduated FHS in 2005 and took off to A & M - Corpus Christi for college. I graduated in December 2010 and worked as a math and reading tutor until August 2012.  I worked in Lockhart as a 2nd grade teacher for 5 years and 1 year as a 3rd grade teacher. I was given the opportunity to work on the leadership team as the 2nd grade team lead my last 2 years there in Lockhart. I was SO eager to get back to my hometown so I jumped on the opportunity when a position opened up to teach 2nd grade here! This is my second year teaching at FES and my 8th year as a teacher. I absolutely LOVE my job and everything that goes with it. I also have 3 daughters: Sunny, Grace, and Penelope and a dog named Boo Radley. My husband and I love spending our time in the outdoors and traveling.

This year:

I am very excited to be teaming up with Mrs. Bairfield this year. I will teach math, science and social studies and she will teach reading and writing. We make a great team and have lots of fun teaching together. I can't wait for all of us to learn and grow together through these very interesting times!
