Hello FISD! I'm so happy to be back in the Hill Country. I am a graduate of Llano High School and attended Texas A&M University. I became a teacher certified in 1996 and began my teaching career in Bastrop ISD where I was a 3rd and 4th grade classroom teacher. Then we moved to Frisco, where I was a 4th and 5th grade teacher, Reading Recovery and my last assignment was the swimming varsity coach at Liberty High School. I also taught Professional Communication and was the general education support for our Content Mastery/Resource room. I stepped away from education for 3 years to go into the fitness industry as a trainer. Thanks to COVID, I got furloughed and saw a prime opportunity to get back to my love- teaching and coaching and even better- closer to home! I am now the varsity swim coach at the high school, and teach 6th grade pre-athletics, 7th and 8th athletics, coach 8th grade volleyball and am the girls' athletic coordinator. It's a crazy busy life, but I'd not have it any other way. I've got 2 kids- one graduated from Texas A&M Corpus in December and one is still in college. At home, I've got 2 spoiled cats and my sweet, handsome love of my life.
