Now, more kids in Texas can start the school day with a healthy school breakfast.

Beginning Sept. 1 and continuing through the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years, students who qualify for reduced-price meals will receive breakfast at no cost.

The reduced price ($.40) for lunch still remains.
